ClosePaul J. Corney helps people and businesses to realise their potential: acting as an advisor; coach; facilitator; and project director.
He has a broad global portfolio from working at all levels across a range of industries: development / 3rd sector; energy; finance; government/public sector; information; knowledge management; law; leisure; retail; and software.
His early background was financial: he spent 25 years in the City as a Senior Manager Corporate Finance at Saudi International Bank and as a Vice President at Zurich Reinsurance.
Since 1998 Paul has run a portfolio of activities: Strategy & Business Advisor to the CEO of software and consultancy group Sopheon PLC; Advisor to the CEO of a leading reinsurance broker BMS Group; and Managing Partner Sparknow LLP.
He came to knowledge management while working in the City of London in the mid-1990s. He has led many assignments across a variety of sectors in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, helping clients to identify and make use of the knowledge that resides inside their organizations.
An experienced practitioner, presenter, masterclass leader and lecturer.
Paul, has been a visiting lecturer on knowledge and innovation / information management at the University of Brighton and London Metropolitan University and is well published*.
He is a member of the British Standards Institute KM Standards committee that worked on the ISO KM Standard, President Designate of the Chartered Institute for Libraries & Information Professionals and a member of the project board responsible for the development of the Chartered Knowledge Manager Practitioner Programme. He was recently announced as the 2019 Walford Award winner for services to the global KM Community. He has written extensively on the potential value of the new standards for Knowledge & Information Management Professionals.

As Ambassador for Gender Equality for SDA Bocconi, Anna provides pro-bono coaching to leaders of international humanitarian organizations. She has created a coaching program to empower women and has worked with groups of female leaders within the United Nations and in the European Commission.
Nicolo’ Andreula is a global economist with a passion for strategy, marketing and leadership development, who shapes corporate strategies, public policies, and educational programs to maximize the socioeconomic benefits of disruptive technologies.
After starting his career at the United Nations and the InterAmerican Development Bank, Nicolò worked as a consultant for McKinsey in London and AlphaBeta in Singapore, with global clients like Google, Uber and Netflix in Asia. He has written papers for the McKinsey Global Institute in Europe and USA (featured in Harvard Business Review), carried research for the World Economic Forum about geospatial technologies in Africa and Green Technologies for Chinese cities, helped the French Government re-think workforce development.
He is deeply involved in lifelong learning as Scientific Director of a Master in Digital Entrepreneurship at H-Farm, and visiting lecturer at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Business School in Singapore, and IE Business School in Madrid. He also conducts training programs for Amazon, Ferrari, JLL, UniCredit.
Nicolò holds a MBA from INSEAD and a MSc in Economics from Bocconi. He has written two books: Flow Generation (featured on Amazon's bestsellers' lists) and Phygital (published by Hoepli).
Sonya Iovieno leads SVB’s Venture & Growth Banking business in EMEA. With over 20 years’ spent in both Corporate and Commercial Banking, Sonya’s experience spans across supporting both global and scaling companies as they grow. She works closely with a broad range of Venture Capital-backed Technology and Innovation clients, most notably in the Enterprise Software, Consumer Internet, FinTech and Frontier Technology sectors. Using SVB’s extensive global network, Sonya and her team have helped hundreds of tech companies in their growth ambitions.
Nick has 15 years experience in senior management and leadership roles in the arts, culture and library sectors. He is currently CEO of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) - a professional association providing leadership and professional development for the UK's 86,000 knowledge workers. His responsibilities include working with a Board of Trustees to set and review strategy, providing leadership and management to support business development, developing a strong and positive working culture and advocating for the organisation and its members in the media and with political stakeholders. In his former role as the Chief Executive Officer of the Collections Trust, Nick was responsible for the development and implementation of a portfolio of funded programmes worth in excess of EUR19m. He has led strategic change and developed business strategies that have increased revenue and impact for the professional community. Nick has developed partnerships across the media, industry and public policy arenas, including advising Government Ministers and agencies and working alongside high-profile brands including Google, Microsoft and the BBC.

She has extensive project experience advising Bain’s dedicated Private Equity group, working with major global funds and financial services organisations around Europe. She is a mentor to the MBA Impact Investing Network & Training lab (MIINT) and serves as a board member for the London Business School Impact Ventures Fund. An economist by training, Stefanie holds a BSc in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University and a Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics.
